Why do I have a black lining around my screen?

Well, I have a 23inch LG screen with a max resolution of 1920x1080 and a XFX Radeon HD 6970. Problem is on some games I have a black square around the screen. Like I can see the game and I set the game resolution to 1920x1080, but the game picture is like centerd and there is a black area around the game picture. Is there a setting I have to change? Or what? I set resolutions to 1920x1080 but still no luck. F.E.A.R 3 and Prince of Persia show the same result as well as Crysis 2. Anyone have suggestions?

I have one of those self watering containers made for tomatoes. I put in a lot of miracle grow fertilizer 2 days ago. Today the leaves are brown and shriveled. But the plants themselves look strong. Is there a way to save my plants or did I kill them?

What can I do to fix my blueberry raised garden soil mixture?

I have read in many places to do an equal mixture of sphagnum peat moss and of a good organic potting soil/mix for blueberries in a raised garden or in pots. So for my raised garden I need 8 cubic feet of S.P. moss and 8 cubic feet potting soil/mix. I put 6 cubic ft of S.P. moss in the box then started to add my bags of organic potting soil mix. I noticed that they had what looked like S.P. moss already in them so I checked the ingredients and sure enough it was in there(apparently potting "mix" and potting "soil" are different). I went ahead and added four 16quart bags of the potting mix to the peat which should give around the right amount of peat moss to the mix but since I wasn't aware that the mix had peat in it (and the garden center told me to use it) now I am not sure what to add for the other 8 cubic feet. If I add all the potting mix I am afraid it will be too acidic with all the peat. Should I add potting "soil" and just make sure there is no S.P. moss in it or can I add top soil and maybe mushroom compost(which I have a ton of now) and also if I can use the latter mix do I need to add a fertilizer to it?

What type of grub do I have?

I went to fertilize my lawn yesterday and made one pass but it was too wet. When I brought my fertilizer spreader back into the garage I poured the fertilizer out to keep the spreader dry and noticed many small white, grub looking, worms. They were very small about a 1/4 of an inch long, but I did not notice a dark head. When I look online almost all of the pictures of grubs show a dark head. What are these worms...are they damaging to my lawn...and what should I use to get rid of them?

So I'd been trying to induce my AF to begin my first cycle of clomid... after almost 10 months of being unsuccessful in getting my AF I dropped some more weight (20 lbs to be exact) and I got a very light AF in March, 28 days later it came again (Surprised!) on 4/18 I began taking Clomid on day 5 and just as I was going for a follow-up sono I get a call from my ob/gyn's office saying my Doctor had suffered major injuries in a car accident and all appointments were being cancelled. I was told to begin BMS on day 11 (assuming I was ovulating) and we did, almost every other day until we had a death in the family and my DH was in & out and our every other day BMS was interupted. My question is, When should I start testing because I have breast tenderness, no bleeding or spotting but feel fatigued. I am trying to stay very optimistic but I kind of feel as if we did not have enough BMS. I'm currently looking for a new OB/GYN but until then this will be my only clomid cycle :( I'm frustrated and feel as if the odds are stacked up against us.

I built my website on my Mac in iWeb as I didn't have Dreamweaver, and iWeb is very easy to use. I got to many times where I wanted to do something that iWeb couldn't (like Spry menus), and elected to dump iWeb and move to Dreamweaver (which I broke down and purchased). I rebuilt the entire site the way I wanted, and I greatly approved. What has come to my attention is that I fixed everything to display on my 1440 x 900 screen. When I viewed the site on my 320 x 480 iPhone, my 1366 x 768 alternate computer, or my 1920 x 1080 TV, it looks horrible. When I designed the site in iWeb, the screen resolution didn't matter, it looked nice on everything. Every image, textbox, and table has been constrained with the 'style="position:absolute; top: Xpx; left: Ypx"' attributes/parameters. I noticed the only difference in my iWeb content is the use of

tags. I didn't use quite as many as iWeb did. Before I got rewrite the entire site again with addition

O.K. this may be a bit more info. than any one wants to hear. but i have been trying to induce labor for several days now, and i have been using acupressure point Ll4 which is on your hand, it says it is the most affective for inductions. well i got my hopes up and my BMs started to become loose which is supposed to be a sign labor is coming. but now i read that is how the point works but stimulating the intestines around your uterus, but i am still not in labor. can any one help am i doing it wrong or is my body just refusing to go into labor?? and advice and please no waiting answers, and if you have any other info on ways to induce that would be great as well.

I'm a 30 yr old female. I've been feeling this way all week. It feels like there is a rock sitting in the middle of my abdomen. Sometimes it feels more to the left. How can I get Comcast to fix my connection?

I've been having connection issues for about 6 months. It goes down for about a half hour every day and I've had probably 10+ techs out from Comcast over this time. What ratio to mix lawn fertilizer with ammonium sulfate?

I would like to know if anyone has experience mixing fertilizers. I have a small hand held broadcast fertilizer spreader and wanted to know at what ratio to mix the fertilizer in it when i apply. I have Schultz Super 21-0-0 ammonium sulfate with coated urea and also primarily use Scotts Turf Builder With PLUS 2 Weed Control 28-1-4. I like the effects of the Schultz quick ability to green up the lawn and also the weed control and results I get from Scotts. I fertilize about once a month and have primarily used the Scotts but wanted to mix in the Schultz. I have read some articles of people who just follow up a balanced lawn fertilizer with a 21-0-0 ammonium sulfate but it seems like that would be too much Nitrogen since Scotts carries a 28-1-4. My 3 (almost 4) yr old son had the stomach flu last weekend. He seemed fine for a day or two but?

he has still thrown up out of nowhere a few times. Actually my husband and I both got the same stomach bug, it lasted about 2 1/2 days but now we are fine. My son had been healthy for about 24 hrs and then threw up. I chalked it up to residual illness. Then this morning, after being fine since Wednesday, he threw up his breakfast. He was fine all day, running around, eating normal, BMs back to normal until about an hour ago. He woke up crying because he had thrown up in his bed. I am wondering if this is still just residual illness, if it's the fact that he was on a liquid diet for 2 days and his stomach still isn't used to a normal diet or if there is something else wrong. He is getting plenty of fluids, eating healthy and otherwise is totally fine. I plan on calling the Dr on Monday if the vomiting continues but I am wondering if I should call the emergency call line tomorrow or just wait it out. Thanks!

Yes but slow release is best. Another time it's a good idea to dig the trench before the winter and fill it up with garden waste and vegetable parings etc. Then next year cover it over with soil and plant the beans - they love it. This is a tip from the old time gardeners who knew beans like a good feed. Ok for next year. This year give them that feed if you want.

7th month old poop question - is this constipation?

Not sure if this qualifies as constipation and requires treatment of if it's normal. My 7 1/2 month old was exclusively breastfed until 6 months. We started solids gradually and he is now eating 2 meals a day which each consist of 1 TBS (dry) oatmeal cereal mixed with breast milk, 1 once of a fruit such as pear and at dinner an additional 1 ounce of sweet potato. His stools have been getting progressively more and more solid. Now, they are often formed and somewhat small. They are not hard - they are still soft but definitely hold their own form. He doesn't appear to be any more distressed than usual when he goes. He has always grunted and strained even when he had liquid poo and he still grunts and strains. But he doesn't cry, and he doesn't have any torn skin or anything like that. In terms of frequency, it's still at least once a day, sometimes twice. So, is it constipation or is that normal? Thanks! Missing the days of breast milk BMs.....

Odd bowel movements? Seems to be IBS?

I am a 13 year old girl who is possibly anemic. For about 2 months now I have been suffering from odd BMs. Usually, I have about 2-3 BMs a week maybe even less! But I've started to get diarrhea more often. I usually only get it about 1-2 a year but I have gotten 2x that amount in already 2 months. I also have adominal pain and nausea. My mom thinks that it is always something I ate but I think maybe IBS (she is a nurse btw). But my poop seems normal (normal solid stools). I don't usually look back when I have diarrhea but I don't notice mucus. My diarrhea is kinda chunky & lasts about a day. The diarrhea usually starts about a week after I'm done bleeding from my period. My diet is usually rice and turkey and I skip breakfast. I also feel the need to poop but nothing comes out. Any suggestions? (sorry for being graphic)

hi, I wanted to pour in my liquid fertilizer to my tank today and I noticed that the liquid has some sediment and tiny plant matter-like debris when I poured it into the bottle cap. I then looked closely into the bottle (it's a transparent bottle) and found that at the bottom there are several large sized debris. It also smelled different. I haven't been using it for 2-3 months due to algae. Does this mean I cant use the liquid fertiliser anymore? I live in a tropical country and the bottle is always placed in a non-air conditioned room although it is not exposed to direct sunlight. Does this make a difference?

What is my weird little pain?

I'm 60, a woman, and have had a pain come and go since my 20's. It's somewhere in the pelvic area, colon or intestine--very hard to pinpoint. It most often happens when I'm sitting or standing. When sitting I have to raise myself up to ease it. Only lasts 2 or 3 seconds and I get it about 6-8 times a year. No problems with BMs.

Computer Screen Turns of at high resolution when I play games?

I've never grown onions indoors, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. You can adjust the temperature of your grow room to simulate the perfect climate conditions. As long as you have enough light, you should theoretically be able to grow any type of plant indoors.

How do I save my strawberry plant, it was grossly overfed?

My daughter "watered" the plant with 3/4 of the bottle of liquid fertilizer.. I already removed all the earth, ran some water on the roots and planted it in clean earth. Health / Appendix pain Question?

I wrote about this before....it has happened 4 or so times now but always resolves within 36 hours. Pain/tenderness that is very localized only to just above the appendix. Any walking, twisting, bending, bumps when driving, etc makes it worse. Laying still is good but hardly any position is comfortable. Eating does not affect it and BMs are normal. It sure sounds like an appendix but it repairs itself?? I can't figure it out and won't have health insurance for at least a month.

Fruits are healthy - but if she eats too many acidy type fruits she could poop more and get a rash...anyways it isn't really a problem except for the rash....if you notice she is going more often slather on some vaseline to protect before she gets the rash.

The odor is due to the ingredients to some degree. Generally a raw diet or grain free diet is best. Some ingredients that often contribute to the stink are corn and fish. It doesn't have to be the most expensive food, just a higher quality food. I like Taste of the Wild, which is actually cheaper than some junk foods like Science Diet. Felidae makes a nice grain free variety, Wellness, Blue Buffalo are some other good options.

rose fanciers that show their prize roses don't feed to get bigger blooms, they select a bud and remove all the others.... so the plant has only the one flower to push..... but that only works with roses that have large-ish blooms to start with...... nothing you can do would make a Lady Banks rose bloom larger!!.... the best you can do is feed with a bloom booster fertilizer where the middle number is largest, like 10-20-10..... keep it happy with full sun, great air flow, in a slightly acidic soil, use compost and mulch and make sure it is watered to its needs and draining well.... if it's happy, it makes nice flowers.....

Blood in stool (10 days postpartum)?

I had my baby on febuary 12, since then my BMs have been irregular and i've been constipated. I dont have any discomfort until i am passing the BM, then it feel a tearing or ripping feeling. Its not to the point where i cant handle it but it does cause quit a bit of discomfort. The bowel movements are large and i think thats why there might have been blood in my stool (there was only blood in my stool today, the other times where just the ripping feeling but no blood)? I looked at my self and i could not see any hemmeroids or anything bloody looking or unusual. I even wiped a couple of extra times and there was no blood on the tissue. Why can't my computer connect to my HD tv?

My tv is HD. It is a LG LCD 32" 1080p tv. When i turn the resolution on my computer to the recommended setting, the tv goes black. I have to keep the setting at 1280 x 1024 in order to see the screen. My video card on my computer is a galaxy gts 450. Why do you think my Meyer Lemon is dropping fruit?

I have one that I overwintered in a pot in the house. Most of the winter I had it in a west facing window and it produced one good lemon. It was blooming again and I moved it to another location it just didn't like and it dropped all its flowers. I live in central Alabama and moved it outside in April on my patio which is exposed to mostly the west but a lot of sun from 11:00 on. I have it on a watering timer with several other plants, bulb beds, etc. I water everything every day for about 20 minutes now that we are 95 degrees plus every day. In April the tree was doing fine, had abut 6 fruits set on and started to bloom again. Then, all of a sudden all but two lemons died turning yellow then black. All the blooms have ddisappearedand I have only two lemons left. I am wondering if the hot spell is getting them, although the foliage looks all right or maybe I watered too much. I took the mister out of it and am thinking about moving it more into the shade too. I fertilized it last fall with a blend of organic fertilizers that should now be broken down and usable Any ideas, too much water, too much sun, too little fertilizer?

I'm a 30 yr old female. For 4 weeks I've had severe constipation. It started with feeling like something was stuck in my mid-right abdomen. Felt bloated and only had 3 very small BMs since then. 2 days ago the pain got worse. It's in my mid abdomen and is a very sharp burning pain. Sometimes it feels like a burning sensation spreads into my entire abdomen. It's constant and does not go away. Been there for 4 weeks and getting worse. Since last night I would have a sharp pain in my lower right abdomen and it's tender there also. Pain radiates to my left shoulder also. I haven't been able to eat in 3 days and have lost some weight. I feel full after 3 bites and it makes my stomach hurt worse. X ray a week ago showed large amounts of stool. I've had good BMs today finally. I can't even drink water. Pain is sharp and burning and not like typical gut or gas pain. I've belched a lot even on empty stomach. I've heard that could be hiatal hernia or ulcer. I've also thought possible pancreatitis or appendicitis. I've had a fever off and on. VERY bad nausea but don't vomit. Getting weak and tired from not being about to eat. I don't have insurance to go to a specialist. If it's serious I can't wait for weeks either. What's possiblity of exploratory surgery if labs are normal? I'm tired of this pain. Haven't slept in 2 nights. Go to ER? What do you think it could be? I don't have acid reflux. Thanks.

Why can't my digestion get back to normal?

For the past 6-7 days I have felt the constant urge to either pass gas or just go and drop weight in the toilet. I have slight bloating in my lower abdomen which also likes to make a lot of gurgling noises often as well. About a week ago I was prescribed Biaxin XL which i took 2x a day for 3 days. Well on Friday night 11/19/10, I felt like I was getting a bit of normal gas. However I found that it was not normal once the pressure of it was still there the next morning. I went to the doc last monday and he said that biaxin can do some good damage to your stomach and told me i was a bit backed up; then he told me to try some milk of magnesia. Well I did that night and went really well but still no relief. So after a fairly uncomfortable Thanksgiving week I can now go to the bathroom a bit but my stools are about the size of a finger and don't like to come out without me making myself sit on the pot which I am now doing at least 5 times a day now. I can also only seem to get out a few of these at a time. Could these abnormal sizes due to my colon being swollen and overworked? My normal BMs were usually getting out 2-3 good sized sausages and feeling completely relieved for the day, having 1 BM a day. I usually have a cast iron stomach and don't suffer from these kinds of things.I've been feeling so filled up lately i sometimes don't even want to eat much. I've been on a pretty good fiber diet, about 1-2 fruits a day veggies and trying not to eat too much junk food, which is a diet I am seriously tired of. I've even stopped drinking my 2 cups of tea with milk a day because of the dairy products. Even stopping my one a day vitamns because of the calcium in them which have been keeping me from getting sick . I've been drinking plenty of water as well, and also eating 2 cups of Activia a day, but i'm scared that I might be stuck like this for a while. My parents don't seem too concerned which doesn't offer much reassurance on my part because they say at least I'm going. I am going back to the doc on Monday for maybe another x-ray and further discussion if this doesn't clear up. I'm a 19yr old male by the way, and would just like to get back to my healthy pooping self lol.

Ok so today my computer was being slow, so i thought a very much deserved cleaning would help it go a little faster. Theres a bunch of stuff on my desktop that i dont use so i decided to uninstall them. I did it the safe way by going to Programs and Features, and uninstalling the applications that i dont use. I uninstalled something that i dont use and all of a sudden my screen turned black and went into safe mode. All the applications on my desktop are huge and i cant change it back. I tried pressing F2 when my computer started up. It gave me the option to Start Windows Normally, which i clicked. No difference. I turned my computer on and off about 10 times. (safely. not by clicking the on/off button over and over again) Its still huge as im typing this. I went to properties on my desktop and then went to Display Settings and its a 1024 by 768 pixels with high resolution. I really dont know what happened. If anybody has experianced this problem or knows how to fix it please tell me. I have some work to do and i CANNOT type with a huge screen. -.-

Breastfeeding...do I worry about this?

My 5.5 month old is EBF. At around 2 months she started having small amounts of red blood in her BMs and some mucus, it only happens here and there and has never been consistent. It is never accompanied by any change in behavior (sleeps fine, is happy, etc.). I took her in to see the doctor a few weeks ago because she had multiple diapers with blood and mucus and was told that she did have an anal fissure but that I should eliminate dairy as that could be behind the blood, mucus and be the cause of the fissure. I have had no dairy for 16 days and she just had another BM with blood and mucus. It is obviously something that I am eating, I have been writing down everything that I eat...but it seems like it could be anything (I am more suspicious of tomatoes, strawberries, bananas, pineapple than dairy...things I don't eat daily, but do eat regularly). How aggressively do I try to find the cause? It seems that short of going on a very strict elimination diet, I'll never figure it out, as it is pretty infrequent/inconsistent. If that is what needs to be done, I'll do it... The only reason I question what I should do is that she is growing well and is perfectly happy and content and she is the type of baby who'd let you know otherwise.

How can I get my beagle to stop defecating on my couch and carpet?

I have a female beagle that I brought inside because she was pregnant and it has been extremely cold outside, and now she has had the pup, who is now 3 weeks out, and I am leaving them inside because I don't feel like putting them outside is a good idea right now. But she has this really bad problem of defecating on my couch, and on the carpets. I have tried putting newspapers out for her to use the bathroom on, but she never does, and she even tore the ones I had on the couch to pieces and proceeded to defecate on the couch still. She knows I can't stand it when she does it, and she often senses my frustration, whenever I go to get something to clean it up with, she tucks her tail in between her legs and runs. I had a c-section 2 weeks and 4 days ago today. I have been having hard/painful BMs for the past week. A few minutes ago I had a BM that made me bleed a tablespoon of blood. My 10 year old active, healthy and happy dog has sudden symptoms of pain. He is slightly hunching back and cannot seem to get comfy. It is now Friday, 4 days ago he was trembling for a couple of hours. That stopped that afternoon. He vomited 2 times that night BUT the whole week he is eating well, drinking water as usual, has regular urine and slightly less but still good BMs. At the park he runs and plays with his buddies BUT indoors he is whimpering and in obvious pain. Seems to be abdomen. On Thursday I took him to the vet. He had an xray and found nothing (no tumor thank goodness!). Vet says he MIGHT have a bacterial infection or inflamed intestines. Gave us four meds. Anti fungal, anti diarrheal (although he does not have loose stools), anti biotic..but no pain killers. Any ideas? He is a healthy active happy boy otherwise. He does have arthritis but this seems to be IN his tummy. He does not eat trash but does eat white snow in the park. Help.

Windows Issue, do i need to reinstall something?

Well, I recently had to restore my computer to factory settings because my baby sister ended up starting the restoration process while I was in the bathroom and now I'm having a few problems. First off certain programs that I thought I'd still have are non existent such as Microsoft word and power point and such, well when I unboxed my laptop it had all these programs and i never had to worry about registering or anything and i've had it for 4 months now so i thought it must have come with the computer permanently but now that i restored it they are all gone -_- that was one of the minor problems though, i can deal with all that. But i was recently trying to change my screen saver and when i clicked "resolution" i got an error message saying that my windows explorer was broken, i realized what that meant and after waiting a sec for the system to retry the process i went to see if i could access the control panel i get the same message, so now I'm a little stuck. I can still use my computer and all but since i can't browse my files convenience is sacrificed and there's no longer a chance of uninstalling programs since i can't even access my control panel (not even through command prompt) I also tried scanning to see if the files were corrupt in command prompt but it didn't detect a problem. Can anyone help? If nothing else a way i can like reinstall a copy of windows explorer or something? My laptop is an HP Inspire with an intel celeron dual processor if any of that stuff helps. I'm also running windows 7 and the browser i use is Opera and i also have Internet Explorer 9 installed

My surgeon has cancelled my hysterectomy three times now. Can she be sued for neglecting my health?

This same surgeon has scheduled me three times for a total abdominal hysterectomy and has cancelled three times for various "excuses" she finds. the first time was because she felt she could not do the surgery herself, the second time was because(and I was nine minutes into going back to the OR) nobody told me I needed a bowel prep, the third time was because the bowel prep was not working as well(it did later that night) due to severe pelvic pain,straining and vomiting. Now she refuses to do this much needed surgery at all! I was told my uterus is necrotic and my pain liable to get worse if I don't have the uterus and cervix completely removed. 4 other gynes agree but this one was more equipped to handle the surgery being she is also an oncologist and gynecology surgeon. But she just keeps giving me excuses and says "yes you have a problem which won't improve". I can't pee or poop at all due to my uterus pressing on things and have repeatedly been in the ER for intractable pain and spasms. I need to cath and my BMs require manual removal which she totally acknowledges the uterus IS the problem but her excuses continue and my health is just getting worse!! Can I sue? Her excuses range from a few adhesions to so called diverticulitis(I don't think I have this and she won't do any tests to find out, only excuses).

Should bachelorette weekend plans be spoiled bc one bridesmaid can't attend?

I am the MOH trying to plan a getaway weekend for my friend's bachelorette party. As friends, this would be one of the first times we are all going away together, and the last before she gets married. I had first suggested an island getaway, but two of the girls had a problem (time off/finances). In an effort to include everyone, I suggested a shorter weekend, (Fri, Sat, Sun) to Miami. EVERYONE initially agreed in the email reply (5 BMs including myself) except for ONE bridesmaid (she is one of the two who had a problem w/ the island trip). When we spoke in person as a group, she stated she could not take time off from work, and she was also in several other weddings so finances would be a problem. When i offered a weekend trip someplace driving distance where she could meet up with us saturday if we got there friday, she had a problem w/ that saying the bride "wouldnt want some people participating some days, and not all".( i personally think the bride will be too busy having fun to notice one person missing and would be just as happy for her to join saturday..) This BMs idea is to go to NYC for a show, dinner, and a club for the night. Am i being unreasonable in suggesting a weekend getaway that one BM can't attend? Though it would be nice for everyone to be able to join, i feel that she is being selfish and difficult and the bride will have to sacrifice an awesome weekend away, for a night in the city (which we ALWAYS do since we live right outside of it) all bc of one person. This BM claims the bride is "simple" and would really enjoy a broadway show and night out as it would be meaningful.... though i know she isn't an extravagant girl, this is her bachelorette party! we could take her to see a show for her birthday!

Blood in stool (10 days postpartum)?

had my baby on febuary 12, since then my BMs have been irregular and i've been constipated. I dont have any discomfort until i am passing the BM, then it feel a tearing or ripping feeling. Its not to the point where i cant handle it but it does cause quit a bit of discomfort. The bowel movements are large and i think thats why there might have been blood in my stool (there was only blood in my stool today, the other times where just the ripping feeling but no blood)? I looked at my self and i could not see any hemmeroids or anything bloody looking or unusual. I even wiped a couple of extra times and there was no blood on the tissue. I know this isnt normal, but before i consult my doctor im just wondering if any one out there knows why this could be happening! Thanks for the help!

Xbox Lagging on one of my TV's, Help Please!?

When I play on my one TV, a 26" Sanyo (HDTV), my games lag just enough to get very frustrating. I read something about converting incoming signals or something causes the lag. My Xbox is connected with an HDMI cable. I have tried changing from 420i up to 1080i, but none of the resolutions make a difference. I also did display discovery turned on, and optimal resolution on, but no luck. I tried the Red, Green and Blue HD cable also, but that didn't change the lag. Is their anything I can do to fix it, or is my TV just crappy. I know it's cheap, and not very good, you don't have to tell me. Oh, and also, their is no lag at all on my Panasonic 32" HDTV. Cause of puppy's diarrhea?

We just got our 9 week old Gordon Setter on Thursday morning, and he's been great. He's very energetic, alert, and a healthy eater. However, yesterday and today, he's been getting some intervals of diarrhea, and then normal bms. It's been very mucousy and kind of frequent. And earlier, I noticed a very tiny amount of blood, like less than 1 drop worth. We've been monitering him very closely, and he's still energetic, napping normally, and eating and drinking... He got into some dried celery and chex mix yesterday, I am wondering, what could it be? Should we take him into the vet asap?

My daughter is having a lack of BMs for almost a week and a half now. She has only gone once a day with help of suppositories. We used childrens suppositories we had cut in half as the dr advised but they weren't really working sufficiently except for putting stress on her. 37 weeks and have had 19 hours of diarrhea. Normal or not?

It's best to talk to your midwife anyway. I had it for 5 1/2 days, and had to be on IV fluids on the 3rd day b/c I was dehydrated despite being able to drink lots of water. I had some braxton hicks because of the dehydration. Of course that's just my experience, but just wanted to put it out there that it could be something other than early labor and to keep an eye on it if it persists. Good luck!

Sudden right sided pain abdomen?

Let me first note I have a high pain tolerance. Very severe pain in my abdomen woke my up at 4:30 Friday morning. It went across both sides a couple inches below my rib cage. It was extremely debilitating (walking was very difficult) and it would get EVEN worse for a few minutes at a time. It was still really bad at 10 am. By 11, it was getting a little better and was only on my right side. That night it was still bad but not as debilitating but better if I didn't move around. By then, it felt that something was swollen and squeezed if I leaned on something on the right side. Today, 36 hours later, it is much better but still sore to the touch and moving exacerbates it. Eating, on the other hand, has absolutely no effect at all. I have no gas, I've had normal BMs (although I did have diarrhea for a couple of weeks preceding with possibly some mucus - not sure). I've also had severe itching (probably unrelated) for about a week-10 days before this started (which began 1 week AFTER taking Avelox for a sinus infection). Hope that's not too much info but I don't have insurance and have no intention of going to the doctor. I've had this at least one other time and I know it will go away but it sure is debilitating when it happens. Otherwise, I've had no other gastric problems unless I've just ignored them (very possible). Come to think of it, I probably have had more nausea and stomach discomfort in the last 8 months but not bad. PLEASE someone offer advice, preferably someone with a medical background.

My 6 wk old's poop not normal. What do I do?

My baby has been constipated sinse the day we brought him home. at first he was only going twice a day while breastfeeding. Very fussy. after switching to formula at 2 wks due to problems on my end, it got worse. Once every 4 days. Doc said to give him 20 ml of pear juice and water. but cant do that all the time. Switched to sensitive formula. Now he has a bm every 2 to 3 days but it is still very hard and he cries when he poops. The past couple days he has been very fussy. He cries durring feedings, He cries basically anytime he is not sleeping and he is a very light sleeper, often wakes up and fusses to pass gas, then back to sleep. Last 2 bms have been solid with some runny or normal poop. What does this mean to have both normal and solid? When will my tomato plant produce fruit?

I bought tomato plants at wal-mart. Idk what kind of tomato, the tag doesn't say. I live in south texas. I planted about a month ago. It gets full sun pretty much all day. Tv's aren't designed for pc's, they work, but they are no replacement for an actual monitor, computers are limited in there resolution. What graphics card do you have, and are you hooked up with a hdmi cable?

You can always ask the Dr. to look that far down, but it sounds like constipation and not impaction. I have been in too many surgeries where the colon is perforated because patients did not take care of the issue. Perforation leads to massive infection and a colostomy (poop bag). Make sure to follow the drs advice to the letter to prevent bowel surgery. Even if you have a BM get that sonogram it could reveal the cause of your problem.

They should have flowers around a foot high or so. Back off some on the fertilizers if it has large amounts of Nitrogen because it has been known to delay blooming on some plants. You need something that has phosphorous in it, that would be the second number on your bag of fertilizer.

I mean there was a rainbow effect when scrolling too fast & it looked horrible big time. But, i've got an old flat tube tv that I bought back in '02, it's 60hz. At first i tried to uninstall a download manager and then my screen got really small so i changed the resolution and it still wasn't normal. I re-started my computer and now my screen is to big so again i changed the resolution and re-installed the program that i had unintalled and my computer screen looks really streched out. What type of fertilizer /product/substance will help my flowering plants to actually flower abundantly?

Hi, I live in WI. and try to plant flowering plants that are for my planting zone.Generally the majority of these plants will do good EX:roses, hollyhocks,hydrangea etc... but many fail to flower or only get a few flowers on them. I do try to enrich my soil with my own compost and learned from an old wise gardener how to make my own liquid compost. Now this same gardener told me that if I select a product from the store that has the numbers on the side ex:10 10 10 -JUST AN EXAMPLE-that the middle number should be the highest for good flowering. Ex: 10-20-10 Feedback please. I also do try to enrich my soil, water according to that plants needs, consider sun needed, and use mulch. Funny part about this is that often I will throw trimming in my field and the next yr. I find them growing. Ya no care, no water, no weeding, fertilizer etc...KInd of funny. He probably has an upper respiratory infection. They move through shelters and stray populations pretty quickly. You can watch him for a few days or a week and see if he gets better. If he doesn't get better, you should check in with your vet. Many times these are viral infections they will get over on their own. What is wrong with me?!?

I'm not sure where to start... I guess with the problem that is frustrating me most which is pain and diarrhea at least once to twice a week. I usually (as in for months now) can only go to the bathroom maybe once a week or so. I will be incredibly constipated for that week and not be able to go no matter what I try... then it never fails after about a week I feel the stomach ache come on and will inevitably spend up to a couple hours on the toilet. First I will just have regular but painful BMs but then it will turn to diarrhea - it does every time. I have a cyst on my left ovary, which is where the descending colon comes down and that pain directly coincides with the BMs every time. I just don't understand if the cyst is CAUSING the tummy trouble? Is it blocking me from being able to poo when its swollen up? And why the diarrhea? I am miserable!

Why are my baby bullfrogs showing up out of the pond dead?

I have a pond in my backyard (12 to 14 hundred gallons) with about 30 gold fish and a school of minnows. I also have water lilies and several other water plants with a bio filter, huge waterfall, and 3 UV lights. Last summer, I got a ton (75-100) tadpoles and they are now growing up to adult form. In the last week, I have found 6 in my yard and they are dead. I don't think birds are getting them because when I find them, they are not mangled or detached, they are whole. I have not used any kind of fertilizers on the grass or any other chemicals. I do have a lot of algae growing and am trying to get my pond water to clear up but I don't want to use any chemicals to do so. I am at a loss and hate to see them die. Any suggestions?

2 sets of tomato plants, 1 fruits, the other doesn't.?

I have two sets of tomato plants. 4 of them are Better Boys and 4 of them are the Beefsteak. Both sets of plants are huge, almost 4 feet tall. The better boys are growing better and they have fruit on them. However, I have yet to see a single piece of fruit on the beefsteak tomato plant. Am I just being impatient or have I done something wrong? I've seen the answers about nitrogen and I haven't added any fertilizer to my plants. Just stuck them in the ground. Both plants are flowering equally. Both sets of plants receive about the same amount of water. Any ideas why the one set grows fruit and the other doesn't?

Don't worry about it hun... It's probably just something that you ate. Since breast milk has the vitamins and all that good stuff that your body produces from the food that you eat I'm sure its just from soemthing you ate. Like if you eat something spicy it can actually upset the babys belly. Of if you drink milk thats a good way to find out if a baby is lactose intolorante and then you would have to quit eating and drinking so many dairy products so your baby's belly would feel better! But i'm sure the green bm is just from something you ate!
