Poop won't come out? Should I use enemas?

Do you eat right, excersize? my wife takes something I forget what its called, it is a liquid, clear unless flavored, you can drink half of it or all at once, 3 hours later she's pooping again (I'm using her email address) they sell it at the local pharmacy, cost 2 or 3 dollars.
