Can you feed growing runner beans fertiliser?

Yes but slow release is best. Another time it's a good idea to dig the trench before the winter and fill it up with garden waste and vegetable parings etc. Then next year cover it over with soil and plant the beans - they love it. This is a tip from the old time gardeners who knew beans like a good feed. Ok for next year. This year give them that feed if you want.
