Hibuscus, Bougainvilla, mandevilla-best location for them?

I have one of each in containers set facing northwest (I beleive) where they get sun from @ noon til 6pm. Would this be enough for them to bloom? I have fertilized them with a good hibiscus fertilizer because the lady at the garden shop said that they would all take the same kind, and I live in central tx where it is very hot and humid in the summer. Does this scenario sound good for them or should I have them in another spot? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
