Can a bride organise her own hen party? Or should I just sack the CBM?!?

She can advise,but as the bride to be your opinion is final.I would suggest you get your fiance's input so he does not feel left out.We did a pretty good wedding for about $800 dollars with help from both families pitching in.My mother organized a pot luck dinner at a hall my sister in law rented for us.My Aunt made the wedding cake.My parents purchased a wedding gown from a girl who got jilted at the alter and gave it to us as their wedding present(They were on retirement pay).My wife and I got the rings at Walmarts and the Groom's tuxedo was free with rental of two groomsmens.My wife wished we could have had more to spend,but I wouldn't have changed a thing.We honeymooned at a State Park Cabin in the mountains we rented during the off season.Park was just about Deserted.And the large Lodge on the top of the mountain served Buffet for when we didn't feel like cooking in the cabin.(Full Kitchen and Fireplace at the 3 Bedroom cabin.)I was unemployed and she didn't have much in savings.
