Help with Sims 3 pregnancy?!?

Well My sim has become pregnant, (when they had woohoo I used the fertilizer treatment) So now shes having them it keep popping up says congratz youve had a baby boy. But Ive had soooooo many, plus after youve dne the whole name for the baby and the traits shouldnt the baby appear on the side where you see all your sims. Its been like this for 23 babies now. I had to pause and save thn quit. Help I think its a pregnancy error?
