Blood in stool (10 days postpartum)?

had my baby on febuary 12, since then my BMs have been irregular and i've been constipated. I dont have any discomfort until i am passing the BM, then it feel a tearing or ripping feeling. Its not to the point where i cant handle it but it does cause quit a bit of discomfort. The bowel movements are large and i think thats why there might have been blood in my stool (there was only blood in my stool today, the other times where just the ripping feeling but no blood)? I looked at my self and i could not see any hemmeroids or anything bloody looking or unusual. I even wiped a couple of extra times and there was no blood on the tissue. I know this isnt normal, but before i consult my doctor im just wondering if any one out there knows why this could be happening! Thanks for the help!
