Is the ignou Diploma in Creative writing in English worth doing in mumbai?

I want to be a freelance content writer for magazines or newspapers or a fashion journalist or something.. but i am already doing BMS so i cant do a full time journalism course.. can anybody give me any idea how to go about it? Any students from Mumbai who have done this course?
