Buyer problems with ebay?

I sold this dude an ipod on ebay and he claims there are scratches all over the ipod when I said there weren't and took it to Ebay Resolution Center where I am more than likely to lose. The buyer will not agree on a partial refund. I don't think I should pay anything as there were never any markings when i sold it. What can I do?
